And The Winner Is

So the votes are in and numbers four and six were chosen for the online villanelles. I was pleasantly surprised that people liked the darker refrains, Especially The "meat in the sun" couplet which I was hoping to elaborate on even if it hadn't been chosen. I'll begin with Number 4, purely for chronological reasons and see where it goes. I'll post the first stage of the process a little later tonight. Hope you enjoy following it being written, be patient though as I'm a little apprehensive of showing all the badly written parts that always accompany the evolution of a poem, but I'll try to be as honest as I can, hopefully coming up with a half decent villanelle.  Hope to see you all later on tonight for the first instalment.
